go! Delphi's SKYFi™ Audio System is a boom
box unit is a big hit. It contains a pair of high
quality speakers, a high gain XM antenna, and
a docking station for the SKYFi and SKYFi2™
XM Satellite Radio receivers (sold separately).
If
you already own a SKYFi or SKYFi2 XM receiver,
you know how great it is to have XM at home and
in the car with a single XM subscription (thanks
to Delphi's home and car kits). Use your SKYFi
or SKYFi2 receiver with Delphi's Audio System,
and you'll get even more portability! If you're
just getting into XM's incredible variety, the
SKYFi Audio System/SKYFi2 XM receiver combination
is a fantastic combination. Buy them both and
you'll have all the equipment you'll need to hear
XM along with your XM subscription, and you're
ready to go! (The SKYFi or SKYFi2 XM radio receiver,
which is required to operate the Audio System
boombox, is not included, and must be purchased
separately, unless you already own one).
The
System works like this: the SKYFi or SKYFi2 XM
Satellite Radio receiver docks in the center panel
of the Audio System which allows you to navigate
through all of XM's channels of music, sports,
news, talk and entertainment, and gives you control
over the system's treble and bass settings. The
Audio System's stereo speakers feature a dual-cone
design for superb sound.
The
20 foot cable on the included high gain antenna
allows you to easily position it for best reception.
When you're using the Audio System in the house,
you can place the antenna on a window sill, table
top, or mount it on an indoor or outdoor wall.
When you take the Audio System out of the house
with you, the antenna easily attaches to the back
of the boombox.
This
Boombox comes with an AC power adapter, so you
can use it at home as a bookshelf XM sound system.
When you leave the house, pop in six "D"
cell batteries (not included), and listen to XM
Satellite Radio wherever you want.
