Next Generation Home Products proudly introduces
the DCT 501 Cable Tester, allowing a "GO"
or "NO GO" decision on the use of an
HDMI cable. There are nineteen conductors making
up the HDMI interface composing of nine discrete
functions. The SES DCT 501 is designed to test
each function individually.
The SES DCT 501 transmitter sends a controlled
voltage through every conductor throughout the
Cable interface. Where thereare a series of conductors
that make up a defined function The Cable Tester
will analyze these circuits as one. The SES DCT
501 receiver is equipped with nine LED's that
illuminate when the function is verified. If any
one of the LED's does not illuminate, the cable
is defective.
